Director & Consultant Physiotherapist
Stuart is a highly skilled physio with over 25 yrs in health care & Professional sport. He is Physio, Sports Therapist, PT/S&C Coach, Acupuncturist and expert in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He started SMPSM in 2021 after returning to Edinburgh from a long career in London, Europe. USA and working in Professional Sports and Music. Stuart enjoys all things knee's, Football, Tennis, Exercising, and Piano.
Consultant Sports MSK Physiotherapist
Lianne is a highly specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience and advanced expertise in Sport and Exercise Medicine in London and Edinburgh. Lianne is a contract Physiotherapist with the Scottish Rugby Union and Scottish Hockey and works in private practice.. Her interests in shoulder, knee, hip, tendon, and running-related conditions, as well as pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.
Senior MSK and Sports Physiotherapist
Niamh is a dedicated physiotherapist, Pilates teacher and Sports Massage therapist with experience in elite sport, MSK rehab, and neurological care. She currently supports Scotland Rugby League U18s as lead physiotherapist and works with Scotland Rugby Union across various squads and works in private practise. She enjoys sport, reading and health care.
Abby Duncan
MSK Physiotherapist & Running Specialist
Abby is a Physiotherapist, Sports Scientist and an Athletic coach, She is our newest addition to the team and will be the lead running Physio. Abby competed Nationally in 100-200m and still coaches Athletics. Abby brings her mix of knowledge and experience to the clinic providing an excellent skill set to all runners. She enjoys all things sport and health.
Dr Nicholas Lam
Sports Massage Therapist & Sports Scientist
Nicholas is a dedicated Sports and Massage Therapist and Sport Scientist. With an academic background, including an MSc in Strength and Conditioning and a PhD in Sport, he combines research expertise with practical experience. With experience of working with Hong Kong Women’s National Field Hockey Team, National Cricket Team, Asia Rugby Sevens Series and others, Nicholas offers a range of services from Sports & Massage Therapy to Rehabilitation.
Megan Ross
Administrator
Megan has been with the company since early 2024 and has a background in reception and administration work and teaching Dance. She has an interest in Health care and is an elite Dancer and Teacher. She is currently studying Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University.
